Trucking Jobs Rise in March

Jobs in the trucking sector rose by 5,700 in March, according to federal data. 

That month-over-month gain comes after a February loss of around 5,100, read a Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) report. 

The total number of seasonally adjusted trucking jobs now sits at over 1.61 million according to the report, which is the highest that number has been since 1990. 

For year-over-year comparison, March 2022’s figure was more than 1.56 million.
