Seven NSRMCA Members Win Prestigious Women in Trucking Award
The National Star Route Mail Contractors Association (NSRMCA) — which represents the interests of transportation firms that contract with the U.S. Postal Service — is pleased to announce that seven of its members have been named among the top employers for women in the transportation sector.
The following NSRMCA members and affiliated firms were recognized by Women in Trucking as being Top Companies for Women to Work For in Transportation:
Arrive Logistics
Covenant
NFI Industries
Ryder
Traffix
U.S. Xpress
UPS
As with all of the winners, NSRMCA-affiliated companies had to go through a rigorous nomination and screening process, as well as demonstrate a corporate culture devoted to gender equality.
“This award shows the strength of postal contractors’ commitment to ensuring an inclusive industry,” said NSRMCA Executive Director Greg Reed. “Many NSRMCA member-companies are owned and operated by women, and we applaud Women in Trucking for recognizing the inroads postal contractors are making to support women in the transportation industry.”
