RXO Finalizes Coyote Logistics Acquisition

Coyote Logistics, an NSRMCA member, has a new parent following its $1.025 billion sale.

RXO, a brokerage firm, purchased Coyote from United Parcel Service (UPS), upgrading them to the third-largest broker in North America, according to a Sept. 16 release

The release noted this acquisition will allow for a wider carrier network and a better market position for RXO.

“This acquisition enables us to provide customers with even more capacity,” stated RXO CEO Drew Wilkerson. “Our larger scale will provide carriers with access to more freight.”

The sale was originally announced June 23. UPS has owned Coyote since 2015, when it purchased the company for $1.8 billion.
