Price of Diesel Continues to Fall

The national diesel average tumbled nearly six cents this week to $3.797.
Every region of the country now has lower prices, according to an Energy Information Administration report, with the Gulf Coast’s average falling the most — around eight cents — to $3.469.
The West Coast’s average sits at $4.47 after a seven-cent decline, while the Midwest’s average fell about five cents to settle at $3.732.
After a nearly four-cent dip, the East Coast’s per-gallon price is now $3.847. The Rocky Mountain region’s average is nearly $4 after a roughly three-cent reduction to $4.044.
Overall, the price of diesel is $1.906 cheaper than a year ago.
