FourKites Implements New Unified Interface

The firm behind the Postal Service’s new CLEAR interface recently upgraded its platform to combine all of a company’s data. 

FourKites’ revamped system will integrate real-time transportation visibility and facility-specific data, according to the firm’s Aug. 22 release.  

In essence, the new platform combines visibility, data from all modes, truck appointment scheduling and warehouse yard management. Some examples of the new system in action include a transportation manager being able to reprioritize schedules in advance based on appointment times displayed alongside the shipment’s corresponding ETA and allowing for accurate location tracking via geofence. 

FourKites’ platform is serving as the interface between postal contractors and USPS under its new CLEAR contract management system.
