FMCSA Kicks Off Truck Driver Appreciation Week

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is giving truck drivers a special celebration the week of Sept. 16.

FMCSA is celebrating National Truck Driver Appreciation Week from Sept. 15 through Sept. 21. The annual event is to thank drivers “for their commitment to moving our nation’s economy and people forward,” according to a Sept. 16 release

Events are planned for each day of the week, including the announcement of millions in grants for commercial driver license training on Sept. 18, highlighting women drivers on Sept. 19 and saluting military veterans who are drivers on Sept. 20.
