Diesel Prices Take a Dip
The nationwide diesel average continues to go lower, dipping around six cents this week to $4.146.
All regions of the country paid less for fuel during the week ending Nov. 27, with the biggest difference in the Midwest. There, prices tumbled around nine cents to an average of $4.115.
West Coast fleets are now paying an average of $4.997 per gallon after a decline of just over seven cents.
In the Rocky Mountain region, the per-gallon price fell around six cents to $4.204.
Prices slipped nearly five cents on the Gulf Coast, with the average settling at $3.793. On the East Coast, meanwhile, fleets are paying an average per-gallon price of $4.121 after a fall of around three cents.
Compared to this time in 2022, a gallon of diesel is nearly a dollar cheaper.
