Diesel Prices See Little Movement

Last week’s diesel price is still this week’s, with the national average holding at $3.806.

Regional prices shifted a bit despite the overall average not changing, according to the latest report from the Energy Information Administration.

East Coast prices rose the most — just over two cents — with the average increasing to $3.879.

The Gulf and West coasts each had minimal increases of less than one cent, with their respective prices going to $3.506 and $4.465.

On the other side, the Rocky Mountain and Midwest regions both had their averages lowered by a tad over one cent; their per-gallon prices settled at $3.927 and $3.726, respectively.

Overall, the price of diesel is $1.626 cheaper than a year ago at this time.
