Diesel Prices Increase Once Again

The national price of diesel slightly rose for the second straight week, jumping nearly three cents to $3.867. 

Fleets on the East and Gulf coasts saw the largest increases — each around six cents — with their averages rising to $4.043 and $3.644, respectively, according to an Energy Information Administration report

On the West Coast, the per-gallon price increased less than one cent to $4.508. 

The Midwest’s average stayed the same at $3.704, while the Rocky Mountain’s price dipped around five cents to $3.645. 

Compared to a year ago, diesel is about 75 cents cheaper today.
