Diesel Prices Drop Once Again

For the seventh straight week, the price of diesel fell across the country, dipping around six cents. 

The national average now sits at $4.185, according to an Energy Information Administration report, with prices down in every region of the country. 

The Rocky Mountain region had the most precipitous dive, falling around eight cents to $4.35. 

The Midwest and Gulf Coast each saw a decrease of around seven cents, leaving their respective prices at $4.021 and $3.93. 

The East Coast’s per-gallon price fell by five cents to $4.309, while the West Coast’s average hit $4.862 after dipping of just over three cents. 

Overall, the price of diesel is $0.949 cheaper than a year ago at this time.
