Diesel Prices Drop Again

The national diesel average fell three cents this week to $3.767. 

Every region of the country paid less for fuel, according to the latest report from the Energy Information Administration. 

The Rocky Mountain region reported the largest dip — seven cents — with the average settling at $3.95. 

The East and Gulf coasts each fell around four cents, taking their respective per-gallon prices to $3.811 and $3.468. 

The Midwest’s average is now $3.704 after a three-cent descent, while the West Coast’s price basically stayed the same, falling less than one cent to $4.412. 

Overall, the price of diesel is $1.908 cheaper than a year ago at this time.
