AJR Trucking Nabs 10 Electric Vehicles

Postal carrier AJR recently ordered 10 battery-powered electric trucks, according to a Feb. 16 release from vehicle manufacturer Kenworth.

The Los Angeles-based contractor purchased the company’s K270E model, which is a zero-emission, battery-electric truck that can run 200 miles on a one-hour charge, according to Kenworth.

AJR’s sister company MDB Transportation — both are owned by Jack Khudikyan — ordered 15 Kenworth vehicles, these being the T680E model.

Khudikyan’s two companies previously purchased compressed natural gas vehicles from Kenworth in 2016.
